The theme: Feeling Lucky
"The Radical’s ownership reflected on how grateful we are to find ourselves in the company of every artist represented... Each of the works in this gallery are intended to hold that same feeling. They invite you to pause from routine for a moment of gratitude, and to notice the people that shape your everyday life."
I titled this somewhat surprising (original acrylic on 15”x30” canvas) intuitive painting BEAMING.
By intuitive I mean that I read the theme (above) and feelings of joyful abundance and night-dancing energy flooded in. Stories started collecting like moths to a flame, and some people started showing up, and a dream sequence ensued.
The gist here is that I see the artists in #riverartsdistrict each carrying magic and also the river.
The character came from a special memory planting fairy gardens with my young friend Mabel in #ithaca.
All in all, creative energy/ creative journey is my jam. I feel very lucky.
